Charades are fun!!

For my 1ºESO class, I cut up strips of paper and had students each write an occupation on the strip. I collected the paper and weeded out the repeats. I added more jobs to ensure the number of paper strips matched the number of students. Then, we played a round of about 20 minutes. The first 15 minutes of the class, however, were spent explaining what occupations were, and I started the class by asking what their own parents did. After that, I gave them a couple of minutes or so to list a job on the paper strip. At the end of a couple of rounds, feel free to switch it up to a game of Pictionary.
